Crimson Trace Wins Prestigious Industry Recognition

Crimson Trace, the leading brand of laser sights and tactical lighting products for firearms, received a prestigious award during the recent National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) 40th Annual Meeting and Expo in Dallas, Texas. The laser sight and light manufacturer earned the Excellence in Accessory Manufacturing in the NASGW’s Excellence in Manufacturing awards category for the second consecutive year.
“Crimson Trace is honored to be recognized within the shooting sports industry for the many cutting-edge accessories we manufacture for the concealed carry and home defense markets,” stated Lane Tobiassen, Crimson Trace President and CEO. “Our dedicated manufacturing team takes great pride in each and every product that is designed, manufactured, packaged and shipped from our facility. This award acknowledges their exceptional customer commitment.”
The NASGW awards the top accessory, ammunition, optics and firearms manufacturers that best demonstrate a commitment to distribution, value and service. Wholesaler members of the Association evaluate the performance of manufacturers on four key criteria: distribution policy; marketing, sales and promotion; logistics and operations; and NASGW and industry support.
Crimson Trace also exhibited at the recent Expo and introduced nearly a dozen new products to the industry. Sales, marketing and leadership staff from Crimson Trace who attended the Expo hosted a wide range of buyers and advertising outlets to help those groups better prepare to meet their customer needs.
Crimson Trace, based in Wilsonville, Oregon, will celebrate 20 years of manufacturing and customer service in 2014. The recent NASGW award is heralded as a starting point for the many events and programs that the company has planned during the coming year. Many of the events will promote the company’s goal to make laser sighting systems standard equipment on every personal protection firearm in the United States.
