Heliconia, a leader in outdoors TV and WebTV production and distribution, is excited to announce two new full-time members to their team-filmmaker, Kelsey Thompson, and Marketing Manager, Amy Luscombe.
An extremely talented and passionate filmmaker, and former professional whitewater kayaker, Kelsey Thompson was an obvious fit to lead production of Heliconia’s Facing Waves TV series, whose second season will air on both Outside Television, and NBC’s Universal Sports in 2014.
Amy Luscombe returns to Heliconia, after a 4-year absence, during which time she furthered her education at Thompson Rivers University, with a degree in Tourism Management. As Heliconia’s Marketing Manager, Amy will be working directly with Heliconia’s sponsorship and tourism partners, and managing Heliconia’s industry leading social media network, which includes more than 50,000 YouTube subscribers with over 15 million views, 66,000 Facebook fans, and 16,000 Twitter followers.
