MidwayUSA Foundation Announces Constituent Challenge Winner

The Lincoln Rifle Club and Junior Division, Lincoln, CA, is the latest winner of the MidwayUSA Foundation Constituent Challenge. They have earned an additional $15,000 for their Team Endowment Account. In the month of November alone, the team received over $14,000 in general donations to win the Challenge. These donations will now be matched by Larry and Brenda Potterfield 2 to1, adding over $58,000 to their account in just one month.

“The Lincoln Rifle Club and Junior Division is a perfect example of how an Endowment Account can grow fast with team effort and community support. We saw donations roll in all month for this team. It’s nice to reward that hard work,” explained MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, Dick Leeper. The Lincoln Rifle Club and Junior Division will also be eligible to apply for a grant, allowing them to draw up to 5% of their total account balance to use for team expenses.

MidwayUSA Foundation’s Constituent Challenge is open to all of its active teams. The program provides $15,000 to the team that raises the largest overall contribution into its Team Endowment Account in a given month. Unless otherwise announced by the MidwayUSA Foundation, there is just one month remaining for teams to win the Constituent Challenge.

The MidwayUSA Foundation is a public charity, established by Larry and Brenda Potterfield, working to sustain the shooting sports industry by providing long-term funding to high school, college, university, and club shooting teams.
