Local Heroes to Be Honored at Bass Pro Shops
OutdoorHub 12.09.13
Special after-hours event on Dec. 15
Heroes are all around us. Police, fire fighters, paramedics, war veterans, soldiers and military personnel — many times they go unnoticed and unappreciated. Bass Pro Shops believes these heroes deserve to be recognized and thanked, and there is no better time to do that than Christmas.
To show appreciation for local heroes and their service, Bass Pro Shops across the United States and Canada will open their doors Sunday, Dec.15 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a special evening of activities, shopping, discounts and drawings. All local heroes and their immediate families are invited to attend. (Must show badge or other identification to attend this special, after-hours event.)
Heroes and their family can visit the magical Christmas Village, Santa’s Wonderland available in 62 locations** and enjoy activities such as slot car racing, remote control cars and trains, as well as get a free picture taken with Santa until 9 p.m.
Special offers for local heroes night include a 10 percent discount on photo packages purchased in-store and on regularly priced items*. Plus they can take advantage of special sales offered throughout the store until 9 p.m.
To honor local heroes, a keepsake ornament will be distributed to the first 100 heroes (18 years and older), and they can enter the drawing for a chance to win a $25 Bass Pro Shops gift card, all beginning at 7 p.m.
Kids will enjoy the free craft activity offered during the event (while supplies last or until 9 p.m.)
