The Supporting Partner ranks of the National Professional Anglers Association continue to grow. Executive Director Pat Neu said, “Not only do these industry leaders work directly with our members, but they demonstrate their faith in the direction our organization is headed.”

Neu pointed with pride to newest Support Partner Heartland Payment Systems. “This is not an outboard, boat or tackle company, but recognizes this outdoor marketplace.  They provide a service for members.”  Heartland handles credit card and payroll processing in addition to a host of other financial and fulfillment services.  They process 11 million transactions each day and more than $80 billion a year.

Heartland relationship manager Tom Huston said, “Our company can help retail, online and individual merchants.  Anyone that accepts credit cards or should accept them needs to talk with me at the NPAA conference.”  He said many NPAA members take credit cards for their resorts, guiding, merchandise sales, fishing schools, etc., and may not be receiving the best deal possible.  Heartland also owns both the front-end processing platform and the back-end settlement platform for total control of credit card transactions.

“I will try to save them money on their card processing and help educate them about this business,” Huston said.  “We offer a secure gateway that in most cases is less expensive.  Heartland is a company that does it right and can benefit NPAA members.”
