The Association of Collegiate Anglers, a division of CarecoTV and The Bass Federation, is pleased to announce the continued support received from Mustang Survival. Mustang Survival recently agreed to a two year partnership for the Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) and the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. This nationally televised series consists of the Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash, the Collegiate Bass Fishing Open and the season-ending BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, as well as the Cabela’s School of the Year program. Anglers throughout the world have come to know Mustang Survival as the premier Personal Flotation Device (PFD) brand for active bass fishermen. Mustang Survival PFDs are designed to integrate seamlessly into the fishing lifestyle while delivering comfort, function, and most importantly, safety.
“Safety is a large priority in the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and we’ve worked on many initiatives with our partners at BoatUS in the past to stress the importance of wearing PFDs over the years. So, this is a great fit for everyone,” comments Wade Middleton, President of CarecoTV and Co-founder of the ACA. “The products made by Mustang Survival are what I personally wear and they are designed with the angler in mind. They are lightweight, easy to use, and easy to maintain. We look forward to promoting their line of recreational products during the upcoming Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and through our various others means at the ACA.”
“We truly appreciate the support from the bass fishing community,” comments Shannon Ward, Director of Business Development & Marketing at Mustang Survival. “The opportunity to build on a great partnership with the ACA will help Mustang Survival connect with more anglers within the community. Product feedback from the anglers – who use our products daily – is integral to driving our product development and improving our line of safety solutions.”
The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship is the marquee event of the series and is scheduled for May 19-23, 2014. Florence, Alabama and Lake Pickwick will serve as the hosts of this annual event and more than 100 colleges are expected to attend and compete for the title of National Champions.
