Legacy Sports Adds Howa/Zeiss Scope Package to Rifle Line

Gene Lumsden, CEO of Legacy Sports International, Inc. is proud to announce a new package rifle added to the Howa lineup for 2014. The package is called the Howa/Zeiss scope package. The rifle features #2 contour fluted (in 3 select calibers) or non-fluted barrel, Howa HACT two-stage trigger, three position safety and black or OD green Hogue Overmolded stock as well as a Hunter walnut stock option. Available in standard and magnum calibers, all Howa 1500 rifles feature a forged, one-piece bolt and M-16 style extractor as well as a hammer forged barrel. Barrel and actions are available in blued or stainless finish.
The scope is a Zeiss Terra 3X in 3-9×42 variable power. This scope features a 1” tube for ultimate light gathering potential. Glass is MC coated for anti-reflective capability and has a #20 Z-Plex reticle with 2nd focal plane. Mechanics include hunting-style turrets with ¼ MOA adjustments and a low profile design. The package comes with DNZ one piece base and both the rings and the turret caps are branded Zeiss.
MSRP prices range from $965 to $1,227, depending on finish, stock type and caliber (Magnum calibers are at the high end of the scale).
