$50K Up for Grabs at 3-Gun Nation’s ‘Rumble on the Range’

Televised shooting tour to host its season finale in North Las Vegas
Eight of the top 3-Gun Nation Pro Series stars will battle for the title of 3-Gun Nation Champion and the grand prize of $50,000, Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 6-9 PM, at the Clark County Shooting Park in North Las Vegas.
3-Gun is a form of practical shooting competition that utilizes rifles, pistols and shotguns. In this season-ending event, qualified 3-gun shooters will compete in a seeded bracket and will go ‘heads-up’ in an all out race to the final target. The winning shooter will stand alone as the 2014 3-Gun Nation (3GN) Champion, and will be $50,000 richer for his efforts.
The ‘Rumble on the Range’ concludes the 2013-2014 FNH USA 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Tour, presented by Federal Premium, which airs nationally on the Sportsman Channel as well as the Pursuit network. The top 30 competitors from the tour advanced to preliminary rounds, with the final eight competing under the lights Wednesday night in a head-to-head shoot-off before a SHOT Show crowd.
The event kicks off at 6PM with the 3GN Semi-Pro Shoot-Off, as four top 3-gunners compete for $5,000 sponsored by Beretta. Then the 3GN Lady Shoot-Off will crown the top lady in 3-gun, with $25,000 going to the winner from Samson Manufacturing. Finally, eight Pro Series finalists will compete for the $50,000 cash payday sponsored by Leupold Tactical Optics and NRA Sports. The event is expected to conclude by 9PM.
This event will feature some of the top names in the shooting sports. Most notably, the 2013 3-Gun Nation Champion Keith Garcia. Garcia, a law enforcement officer from San Ramon, California, has been at the top of his game all season, posting top 5 finishes in the qualifying events. However, the one everyone is gunning for comes out of Ft. Benning, Georgia… Daniel Horner. Horner, a member of the United States Army Marksmanship Unit, has been on a tear this season, taking home first place finishes at each 3-Gun Nation qualifying event.
The event is open to the public and free food and beverages will be provided. Also, door prizes from Timney Triggers will be raffled to the crowd. In addition, one lucky spectator will win an FNH USA 3-Gun package, including a FN SCAR 16s rifle, FN SLP shotgun and FNS 9 pistol. For all prizes, spectators must be present to win.
Vendors will display at the event as well, including Beretta, Barnes Precision Machine, RuckPack, Remington, DPMS Panther Arms, Para USA, Bushmaster, Hiperfire, and One Team One Fight.
