Hi-point Firearms and MKS Supply will host a meet and greet book signing by Lt. Colonel Robert K. Brown, famed publisher of Soldier of Fortune Magazine.
Colonel Brown’s recently published book outlines his early years as a soldier (Army Special Forces) and epic times of running Soldier of Fortune Magazine when at little notice to his staff would bug out on some “out of bounds” adventure that had a reasonable probability of getting him seriously dead.
Brown would wade into some of the most remote and dangerous locations with some of the wildest and most lethal people you might imagine from professional mercenaries in Africa to former French legionaries in Bosnia all the while barely missing getting blown away by bombs to dodging Russian bullets with the Mujahidin and “other interesting friends” in the mountains of Afghanistan where he and his onsite writers would bring back captured equipment and donate it to the CIA.
This is a great opportunity for folks to obtain a personalized autographed book of these adventures by a truly legendary author, editor, publisher and adventurer. Bob Brown is known as the Hugh Hefner of adventure magazines.

Hi-Point and MKS Supply will host a meet and greet with Student of the Gun Paul Markel. Markel a former Marine and 17 year police officer and small arms instructor writes for law enforcement and firearm periodicals and is a guest on various radio talk shows concerning firearms and tactics.
Markel’s Student of the Gun is a popular blog dealing with firearms, firearm safety, tactics and products. Markel works with 4H Shooting Sports programs and holds several NRA instructor certifications
