Contessa Introduces Professional Tactical QD Mounting System at SHOT

Alessandro Contessa of Italy, producers of patented precision QD mounting systems, will announce the introduction of a new Professional Tactical QD mounting system for Picatinny rails and Weaver rail platforms at SHOT Show 2014. This is Contessa’s inaugural SHOT Show.
The new Tactical QD system guarantees repeatability of all optical sighting devices from rifle scopes, laser scopes, night vision to laser sights and tactical lights. The patented locking system is machined from technical allow steel and has a long locking surface for repeatability. The special base unit is machined from solid 7075 Ergal allows for light weight and strength.
The quick detachable mount system is available in configurations with rings at either 1 inch, 30mm, 34mm Burris, LaserScope II or LaserScope III. It is designed for direct mounting to standard Picatinny or Weaver rail systems.
The Contessa Tactical QD is available with 1″,30mm and 34mm rings in multiple heights. Custom applications are available for military and police. Suggested Retail is $369.
Contessa precision machines all parts from solid blocks of material. The moving parts and unique locking jaw system are machined from special steel alloy and compound hardened . Base and rings are machined of compressed Ergal 7075 alloy for weight reduction and then hard coat anodized for hardness.
