Orion Entertainment Garners 8 Golden Moose Award Nominations

Outdoor Channel has released its nominations for the coveted Golden Moose Awards and Orion productions have received eight nominations. The awards will be announced at the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor, Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas Thursday January 16, 2014.
“It’s gratifying to see the work of our production teams and hosts be recognized by Outdoor Channel,” says Orion president Chris Dorsey. “The network has emerged as the unmistakable leader in outdoor programming so to be nominated from a pool of the best outdoor shows on air is heartening.”
Nominations include:
Best Deer Episode: Bucks of Tecomate; Swarovski Optik Quests
Best Fishing: Buccaneers & Bones
Best Big Game: Ram Outdoorsman
Best Overall Production: Buccaneers and Bones
Best Show Open: Ram Outdoorsman; Federal Premium’s Deadliest Hunts
Best New Series: Federal Premium’s Deadliest Hunts
