Blue Heron Communications Promotes Matt Rice to Senior Account Supervisor

Blue Heron Communications is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Matt Rice of Norman, Okla., to the position of Senior Account Supervisor. Rice has been promoted to the new position after serving as an Account Executive for the outdoors public relation agency since beginning his career in 2004. In his new role, Rice will assist with developing and implementing strategic brand messaging for all of Blue Heron’s clients while playing a larger role in new business opportunities.
An avid outdoorsman, Rice has played a leading role in planning and executing marketing strategies for a wide variety of Blue Heron’s clients, most notably Smith & Wesson, Thompson/Center Arms and BLACKHAWK!. As Senior Account Supervisor, Rice will continue to oversee client direction for each of these companies while assisting with the formation of new programs and methodologies to better meet each of Blue Heron’s defined client objectives. Rice will also work closely with each Account Executive as well as key media influencers to help ensure focused brand messaging for each of the agency’s distinct client audiences.
