OutdoorHub 01.14.14
For the first time in nearly a decade, Dieter Anschutz will join his son Jochen at the Steyr/Anschutz/Merkel booth #10246 at the 2014 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, NV, today through Friday. Dieter was at the helm of this successfully family run company for 40 years before passing the reigns to Jochen in 2008.
While the company has always been headquartered in Germany, Dieter has history and love for the United States that dates back to 1957, when he worked in a gunsmithing shop in Washington D.C. Since that time, both business and pleasure have brought him back to U.S. soil.
“My closeness and memories in the USA are unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see my friends again at the 2014 SHOT Show in Las Vegas,” said Dieter Anschutz.
Since its founding in 1856, Anschutz has been family owned and operated. The name Anschutz stands for innovation and perfection—something that has not changed over the years. The company is inseparably connected with myriad national and international shooting triumphs. But most importantly, the name is clearly recognized the world over for its extraordinary precision, workmanship and accuracy in its firearms. It is a tradition that continues today.
Be sure to stop by the Steyr Arms booth #10246 to visit with one of the industry’s most successful firearm designers, Dieter Anschutz.
