Vortex Introduces Spitfire Riflescopes

Designed specifically for the AR platform, Vortex’s new Spitfire riflescopes combine rugged, compact, high performance features into a simple, intuitive and highly effective package. The fixed 1X and 3X models excel in close to medium range shooting applications, where fast target acquisition and speed is of the essence.
Prism-based design intrinsically allows for a compact optical system – while at the same time delivering high-level optical quality. Lenses fully multicoated with antireflective coatings offer up bright views – even in low light scenarios.
Selectable red/green illuminated reticles feature 5 intensity levels to match situational specific conditions. Reticle is etched directly on the prism; ensuring shooters have effective point of aim at all times – regardless if illumination is engaged. The 1X Spitfire’s DRT (Dual Ring Tactical) reticle promotes rapid target acquisition. The 3X Spitfire utilizes the EBR-556B reticle – a hybrid with BDC drop references that subtend with the popular .556 cartridge. Reticle focus on rear ocular.
Multi-Height Mount System allows for 30mm and 40mm mounting heights. Flip caps keep lenses protected and free of dirt, dust and debris when not in use. Dual rails mounted on the 3X Spitfire allow the optic to be married with an offset, auxiliary reflex sight.
Shockproof construction withstands recoil and impact. Nitrogen gas purging with o-ring seals delivers fogproof, waterproof performance. Hard-anodized black matte finish.
