OutdoorHub 01.20.14
This past Saturday January 18, Crappie USA held a qualifying event on Crescent Lake at Crescent City, Florida where anglers from 11 different states traveled to the sunshine state to compete for not only cash and prizes, but a chance to advance to the prestigious Cabela’s Crappie USA Classic. This year’s classic will be held on Lake Cumberland at Somerset, Kentucky October 16th-18th, 2014.
“The teams all had a lot of issues with 20 mile per hour winds out of the southwest all day making the main lake very hard to fish. Fish were stuck tight to the bottom according to all teams in the money”, said Crappie USA CEO, Darrell VanVactor.
