QDMA Names Brian Linneman to Board of Directors

The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Linneman of Nebraska, Executive Vice President of Cabela’s, to its Board of Directors.

“I am honored and humbled to join a high-quality wildlife conservation organization like QDMA,” said Brian. “QDMA perfectly aligns with my personal beliefs of sustaining habitat for the white-tailed deer and keeping alive the hunting heritage in North America.”

“On behalf of the QDMA Board of Directors, our staff and membership, we are pleased to welcome Brian to our Board,” said Louis P. Batson III, Chairman. “Brian is a passionate outdoorsman and conservation advocate. He shares our vision of introducing people to the outdoors and showing them how to make every outing special, while sharing and safeguarding our hunting heritage. QDMA continues to make a significant, positive impact on deer and their habitat, as well as men, women, and children who enjoy the outdoors. Brian’s addition to the Board will enhance our ability to advance the principles upon which this organization was founded.”

Brian is the Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Cabela’s. He was born and raised in South Dakota, where he took up hunting and fishing at age 12. Currently, his list of outdoor passions include deer and pheasant hunting and walleye fishing. Brian, who earned an MBA degree from Bellevue University, is a member and supporter of numerous outdoor conservation and advocacy groups, including the National Rifle Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Pheasants Forever. He also serves as a Board member with the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. Working for Cabela’s, which he joined in 1999, has strengthened Brian’s passion for protecting and advancing the outdoor heritage of the United States.
