Apex Announces Armorer’s Block Tooling Plate & Pin Punch

Thanks to the extremely popular Apex Armorer’s Block, Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc. announces the release of the Armorer’s Block Tooling Plate & Pin Punch.
The Armorer’s Block Tooling Plate works in conjunction with the Apex Armorer’s Block. The Tooling Plate acts as a riser for the Apex Armorer’s Block and attaches directly to the underside of the Block to provide an elevated and stabilized work surface. This plate feature snap-in slots designed to hold specific armorer’s tools such as:
- Apex’s Polymer Roll Pin Punch (Included)
- 1/16″ Hex Key (Included)
- Talon Tactical Tool
The Apex Armorer’s Block Tooling Plate is made of high density red polymer and prevents damage to your work surface. The included 1/8″ Roll Pin Punch handle is made from a Nylon/Glass composite and the pin punch end is hardened tool steel for durability.
The Armorer’s Tooling Plate also features a ring magnet to keep your steel pins and pieces from rolling away, a raised up section to capture the muzzle of your slide during slide back plate removal/installation and anti-skid foot pads.
The Polymer Roll Pin Punch tip is specially designed to seat into the coil roll pins used by Smith & Wesson to assemble the M&P series pistols. The length of the punch prevents the pin from being driven too far and damaging your work surface. With an ergonomically friendly polymer gripping surface, the Roll Pin Punch makes roll pin removal and installation a breeze.
