Peters & May Racing Continues Support for Jelf Racing in 2014

The 2014 season will see Peters & May Racing support the Jelf Racing Team for the third consecutive year throughout British and International powerboat competition as both Ben and Colin aim to power forward to further glory and add more silverware to their already impressive trophy cabinet.
2013 saw Ben Jelf retain his European & RYA British Championship Title for the third Consecutive year and in addition was awarded a prestigious award from the Yachting Journalist’s Association for his achievements in his short racing career at the London Boat Show this month.
Meanwhile former 3 times World F2 Champion Colin Jelf made a competitive come back to racing after having taking a break from competition to focus on Ben’s Racing. It wasn’t long before the former champion was making waves amongst the fleet as he got to grips with his new boat.
2013 saw the season finish on a high with Jelf Racing team’s Ben and Colin both winning the final Powerboat GP Grand Prix of the season on home water at Stewartby, Bedford before heading to Coniston Records week in search of elusive World Speed Records. Where Colin Jelf swapped his F2 for a smaller boat from the GT30 class in which he set a new World & British GT30 record at 59.19 mph.
The team will be looking to get the new season off to a strong start as the season gets underway at the Powerboat GP Lowestoft Grand Prix at Oulton Broad on the 4th & 5th May.
