Back stronger than ever in 2014, Winchester Archery continues to produce high quality, 100% American made compound bows and crossbows. New from the company in 2014 is the Black Horse SST, one of four new models in their line-up.
The Black Horse is a hard core hunting bow that will consistently fill the freezer without breaking the bank. Featuring Winchester’s 2-track ARC cam, the Black Horse has a silky smooth draw cycle and an incredibly firm back wall thanks to its dual draw stop pegs. The ARC cam provides for up to 80% let off and will accommodate draw lengths of 27”- 30” with its new and improved rotating module system. The ARC cam generates IBO speeds of 320+ FPS while offering a forgiving shooting experience that every hunter will appreciate. Dressed in a matte black anodized T6-6061 forged aluminum riser, the Black Horse sports black carbon weave Gordon Composite split limbs that will reach peak draw weights of 50, 60, or 70 lbs. Carbon fiber rods in its tunable Sudden Stop string suppressor and adjustable roller guard compliment the high-end look of this bow. Weighing in at a mere 4 lbs, the Black Horse has the look and feel of a high-end flagship bow, yet it comes in at a very affordable $699 MSRP.
