Rocky Brands Earns 2013 Awards from Three Publications

Rocky Brands earned three consumer or industry-voted awards from publications in 2013, two for the Rocky outdoor brand and another for Durango. Rocky was selected the 2013 reader’s choice for hunting boots by Bowhunting World and Predator Extreme magazine, while Durango was awarded the 2013 Plus Award for design excellence in cowboy boots from Footwear Plus.

“These awards are a tremendous compliment to our product designers and brand managers, who we encourage to understand the voice of the consumer in every product they create,” said Liz Horn, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Rocky Brands. “These awards show that our brands are creating footwear that meets the needs of the core consumer and that Rocky Brands continues to be a leader in innovation in the footwear industry.”

The Plus Awards, celebrating their 15th year in 2013, are determined by the votes of thousands of industry members including vendors and retail outlets. The awards recognize excellence in product design and retail success, and are announced in the March 2014 issue of Footwear Plus.

The Bowhunting World Reader’s Choice awards are voted on by the magazine’s thousands of subscribers and annually select the best in outdoor gear across more than 50 categories. The awards are announced in the magazine’s March issue.

The Predator Extreme Reader’s Choice awards are also determined by reader votes and feature more than 40 product categories. They are announced in the magazine’s February issue.
