Kinsey’s to Offer Manufacturer Packaged Arrows

To better serve retailers, Kinsey’s will transition its arrow offerings this winter from in-house assembly to manufacturer fletched and packaged products. The company will continue its long tradition of producing special order arrows, as well as manufacturing and selling popular arrow models in 36-packs.
“Dealers have requested fletched arrows in manufacturer packaging from Kinsey’s,” says Dave Parker, director of sales for Kinsey’s. “Dealers want to create nice arrow displays in their shops recognizing that customers often buy a particular brand. They are also increasingly asking for bar coded packages, which are of vital importance in modern retailing – our own warehouse, too. Offering fletched arrows in manufacturers packaging adds value and solves problems – it was time to make this transition and retire our plain white boxes.”
Kinsey’s will phase-out many of its in-house assembled 6 and 12-pack arrow offerings over the next several weeks as manufacturer arrows become available in the company’s warehouse. To assist dealers in this transition, Kinsey’s will soon release an easy-to-navigate chart listing all new 6-packs, in-house manufactured 36-packs and available shafts for special order arrows. Once available, the chart will be posted on Kinsey’s website in addition to it being available via email.
“This is a big change for our dealers; we’ve been producing arrows for a very long time – 10 million and counting since 1952. But, this is a good change and one we’re excited about,” says Rick Jones, arrow manufacturing manager for Kinsey’s. “We’ll continue to produce popular arrow models in 36-packs and our special order arrow program is unchanged. In fact, in the not too distant future we’ll expand our special order services. Producing less production arrows will give us the time needed to focus on producing special order arrows to the highest of standards. We think Vernon would be pleased with that.”
Kinsey’s expects to have manufacturer packaged 6-pack arrow inventory from Beman, Carbon Express, Easton, Gold Tip, Muddy Outdoors, PSE and Victory in stock by the end of February.
