  1. The current cost of ammunition despite all the bells and whistles is getting way out of hand. Personally I want lead in my bullets and if the pathetic excurse for a government wants to protect felons from lead poisoning then they might just want to invest in behavioral modification of the people that I might have to shoot at. My jacketed non hollowpoint rounds do just as about as well as the claims that Liberty makes for their ammunition and it does nor cost me about a buck and 22 cents a round. Current persons in the supply end of our gun market are going to do more harm in the long run to gun ownership and use than the US government could accomplish in ten years. Somewhere greed and non hunter/soldier/shooter types that now manage these businesses needs to come to an end. I’m assembling an old guard group of about ten persons that were around some 45-50 years ago and personally knew the greats of the time and made their own marks in our field and hopefully we can get together, design and work on building needed accessories and weapons and ammunition that not only works but also is not out of the price range of all but the top end of the market. If nothing else we will have some spirited conversations, enjoy each other’s company (possibly) and theologically discuss the merits of Southern brown whiskey; after we shoot of course.
