We’re breaking up the winter doldrums with some mid February fishing. The boys will be joined by longtime TV host and co-owner of B.A.S.S. Jerry McKinnis, Modern Fishing’s own Jared Jeffries which airs on Outdoor Channel, Brian Tucker with Hi Mountain Seasonings, and Kirk Deeter with Field and Stream.
Jerry McKinnis
Jerry McKinnis co-owner of B.A.S.S. joins Jim and Trav this week to offer some of his insight into the upcoming Bassmaster Classic. He’ll also talk about the growing enthusiasm for the sport of bass fishing in those who may not be dyed in the wool anglers and the proliferation of bass fishing into high schools across the country. Jared Jeffries
Former NBA player Jared Jeffries was a 6’11” powerhouse on the court, however he spent his off season on the water. Now retired he has taken his passion for fishing to the next level and is the host of “Modern Fishing with Jared Jeffries” on Outdoor Channel. He’ll fill us in on what his new show will have to offer this season.
Kirk Deeter
Kirk Deeter is a serious angler with the gift for technical writing that has made him an editor at large for Field and Stream Magazine, editor in chief of Angling Trade Magazine as well as a contributor to numerous other publications. He’ll join Jim and Trav this week to talk fly fishing during the cold months.
