Macomb Resident Wins $5,000 Playing FLW Fantasy Fishing

FLW, the world’s premier tournament-fishing organization, announced today that Jeremy Rodzos of Macomb, Mich., was the first $5,000 winner in the 2014 FLW Fantasy Fishing season. He scored the big payday by racking up the most points with his team of 10 fantasy anglers based on their performance at the Walmart FLW Tour season opener that took place on Florida’s Lake Okeechobee last week.

Fifty prizes are awarded at each of the seven individual tournaments during the 2014 Walmart FLW Tour season, including a $5,000 top prize. In addition, 10 cumulative prizes, including the $10,000 grand prize, will be awarded to the top scoring teams from all seven tournaments combined.
FLW Fantasy Fishing offers the largest prizes in bass fishing, with improved game play and updated rules in 2014. FLW Fantasy Fishing is free to play and FLW members receive access to Member’s Advantage, fantasy tips and tools that greatly aid in angler selection.
Players can sign up, examine angler valuations and select their roster at FantasyFishing.com. The next FLW Tour event is scheduled for March 6-9 at Lake Hartwell in Seneca, S.C. Fantasy players can select and modify their rosters for the Lake Hartwell event until 11:59 p.m. ET on Wed., March 5.
