Benelli USA, an acknowledged leader in the firearms industry, has named Bill Pugh as their new VP of Sales and Channel Marketing. Pugh will be responsible for Benelli USA’s sales and margin attainment for the family of brands, including Benelli, Franchi, Stoeger, Uberti and Stoeger Airguns. Pugh will head the sales effort to enhance commercial operations and sales to the Benelli USA dealer partners, and maintain the brands as leaders in existing and emerging markets.
Pugh comes to Benelli USA from ADS an operational equipment and solutions provider to all U.S. Department of Defense branches and Federal Agencies. Pugh’s position at ADS was a VP and Market Manager of the Combat Support Equipment business group where he was responsible for distributing tools, equipment, kitting solutions, expeditionary and energy efficiency portfolios and services.
Prior to ADS Pugh worked for Stanley Black & Decker as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Industrial and Automotive Repair division where he was responsible for new business acquisition and integration. During his time with Stanley Black & Decker Pugh gained in-depth experience in product development and channel management including overseeing an Independent Dealer and National Account customer base of over 1,500 that distributed DEWALT power tools.
