Safariland congratulates team member Robert Vogel, for winning the Stock Service Pistol (SSP) Division at the 2014 IDPA Indoor Nationals held in Springfield, Mass. this past weekend. Vogel dominated the entire match coming in with the fastest overall time of 161.69, defending his title for the 7th year in a row.
“My Safariland holster is the best in the shooting world. This holster has travelled with me all over the world for matches and classes I teach. Thus far, the 5199 holster is my favorite holster to date. My Safariland gear allowed me to focus on the game and not the equipment,” said Robert Vogel.
Participants gathered from all over the world to compete at the Smith & Wesson Indoor shooting range where the IDPA Nationals offered 13 stages with a round count of more than 250. All the stages were designed to challenge every competitor’s skills. The low- and no-light stages have become well known in this match and competitors must shoot on the move while reloading with a flashlight in hand, which can be challenging.
“We are very proud of Vogel’s performance at this year’s nationals and value his feedback to our Research and Development team, more importantly.” said Team Captain and Vice President, Equipment Category Marketing, Scott Carnahan. “This is a great start for Team Safariland and we look forward to a great year.
