Not only will visitors have a more enjoyable online experience, they have the ability to easily navigate the entire site with fewer clicks to get where they want to go. Berkley made it easier to see what’s new, get fishing tips, shop sub-brands and sort through products that are relevant to the user.
Berkley has added a new wish list feature that allows anglers to save and share their newest gift ideas. Users can create an account, to better manage orders, and generate and account that is all their own.
“Our design team really stepped it up with the launch of Berkley-fishing.com,” said Chris Hockley, Brand Marketing Manager – Berkley. “Berkley is continually looking for ways to improve the efficiency in which our online users get information and products. I really feel that we have developed a website that any level angler could easily navigate to find the products or information that would benefit them best.”
In addition to a new look, visitors to the site are able to sign up for the Berkley e-newsletter, see promotions and rebates easily. A new social feed, “On the Water,” is also available. With this new social feed, visitors can see all of the Berkley posts to social networks on the front page.
“There is so much more information on this site than just product,” said Hockley. “We’re focusing on angler education. Our new social feed is really cool, and users can scroll through all our posts and keep up with what’s going on around the Berkley family. We have also brought a taste of the Experience trailer online.”
Additionally, the Berkley site highlights a section called “How It’s Made.” This portion of the website allows visitors a glimpse into what goes into building some of their favorite baits and different testing measures that ensure angler success. This is what makes Berkley one of America’s favorite fishing brands.
