Sonoran Desert Institute Partners with Texas State Rifle Association

The Sonoran Desert Institute (SDI), one of the nation’s premier distance learning schools for gunsmithing and firearms technology, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with the Texas State Rifle Association, the largest firearms and shooting sports organization in the Lone Star State.

As part of the agreement, SDI will establish an annual scholarship for an Associate of Science degree in Firearms Technology program, available exclusively to TSRA members. SDI and TSRA will share advertising and editorial content to promote firearms technology education and to protect the rights of citizens to enjoy and own firearms as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. SDI will also provide a one-year TSRA membership to any of its graduates who reside in Texas.

“The Texas State Rifle Association has defended the Second Amendment rights of Texans for nearly 100 years, and we’re very excited to establish a comprehensive partnership with them to help educate people about the firearms industry, promote youth participation in shooting sports and build awareness for the organization,” says Pam Rogers, director of the Sonoran Desert Institute.

The largest gun rights organization in the Lone Star State, the Texas State Rifle Association champions the rights of law-abiding Texans to own, enjoy and use firearms as guaranteed by the Constitutions of the State of Texas and the United States of America. The TSRA is dedicated to protecting the inalienable rights of individuals to own and enjoy the lawful use of firearms. For more information on the Texas State Rifle Association, visit www.TSRA.com
