Survival Trial Announces Inaugural Vanguard Race Series

Jon Weiler’s Survival Trial is pleased to announce the NRA Whittington Center as the first Vanguard series sponsor of the wildly popular, physical and mental testing ground known as the Survival Trial.
As a Vanguard sponsor of Jon Weiler’s Survival Trial, the NRA Whittington Center will be hosting a ‘Race within a Race’ by inviting Industry Partners to enter teams to compete in a 24 hour race during the STVIII: Sundowner held September 12-15, 2014 at the beautiful NRA Whittington Center in NE New Mexico.
The Survival Trial is a 12 – 72 hour, Survival-based Adventure Race that blends endurance racing with the Consistent – Efficient – Safe implementation of the sidearm, semi-automatic rifle, shotgun and precision long range rifle platforms. The Survival Trial’s Shooting Scenarios and Physical Obstacles incorporate real world events taken directly from the news with Mental Challenges focusing on current events and history.
