HI-SEAS Pro Casey Ashley Takes Home the Money in the FLW Tour in Lake Hartwell

The newest member to the HI-SEAS Pro Staff Team, Casey Ashley wins the FLW Tour at Lake Hartwell using HI-SEAS Fluorocarbon line. Ashley was in first place 3 out of the 4 days and landed a total of 20 bass weighing 68lbs and 5oz, taking home the $100,000 prize. Ashley was able to take first place by using HI-SEAS lines, “I caught every fish this week on 10lb and 20lb HI-SEAS Fluorocarbon”. The line survived a tough battle, not with the fish, but with the metal crossbar, “I fought a 4lb fish from a metal crossbar, over 40 feet, and the line withheld the abrasiveness of the metal the entire way up.”
Recently competing at the 2014 Bassmaster Classic, Casey fished along 55 other professional anglers and ended in 11th place in Birmingham, AL. Coming close to the top gave him the motivation to try harder, which proved successful. Winning this tournament at Lake Hartwell was extra meaningful for Ashley as it was near his hometown of Donalds, SC. Not only did he win his first FLW Tour, but he won with his friends and family by his side.
