SHOT Show Media Day at the Range and SHOT Show Buyer Day at the Range will now take place on the same day, Monday, January 19, 2015. This change will provide key buyers the opportunity to test new products and attend the opening day of SHOT Show.
Industry Day at the Range will take place from 8:30AM-4:30PM. The day will be split into two sessions; the first will be open to up to 1,000 invited media members who are welcome to stay the entire day, the afternoon session will open at 12:00PM to up to 700 invited buyers, dealers, distributors, and retailers. While there will be no at-large media session, the media segment of Industry Day (morning session) has been expanded to accommodate additional invited media members. We anticipate attendee registration to open in late September.
This will be the tenth year that the media have gathered the day before SHOT Show to test and learn about new products for stories for the upcoming year. As with the media, providing buyers with the hands on experience while attending SHOT Show gives them an opportunity to sell new products through firsthand experience. Attending manufactures get a jump on their competition with early media exposure, highlighting their products for print, broadcast and internet coverage.
Exhibiting opportunities are open to all manufacturers in the hunting and shooting industry; conservation groups and shooting organizations are welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for Industry Day at the Range will open for existing exhibitors today, March 20 and for new exhibitors April 21.
