Dealers Predict Top Selling New Products Inside April Issue of Shooting Industry

After a record-setting year for the 36th SHOT Show, the April issue of Shooting Industry features a comprehensive review of the industry’s mega trade show. In “Dealers Predict SHOT Show Top-Sellers,” Carolee Anita Boyles examines a range of new products introduced at this year’s SHOT Show, conducting exclusive interviews with a variety of dealers as they identify top product selections for the upcoming business year. Remington’s new R51 caught the attention of many dealers at the show.
“Remington is coming out with a new handgun called the R51,” said Annette Allen, owner of Bluebonnet Firearms in Liberty Hill, Texas. “It’s light and thin and it will fit in my purse without tearing holes in the corners. For me personally, I think it’s going to be my new carry weapon. And it’s under $400, so it’s going to be big for us.”
In “SHOT Show 2014: Record-Setting Trade Show Gets ‘Wow’ Rating,” Editor Russ Thurman examines the successes of this year’s NSSF event, while reporting on a renewed, enthusiastic industry.
“Wow! There was just so much great, upbeat news and new exciting stuff at SHOT. It was a super show for all of us!” said Frank Brownell, Brownells chairman.
“There is definitely a buzz, an excitement. The increase of new shooters to our industry, in some cases new demographics, I think is very exciting,” said Scott Feck, Galco VP of operations. “I see a lot of excitement about the industry in general.”
