Bethel Leads Day 1 of Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash

The 2014 Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash kicked off at Kentucky Lake and Paris, Tennessee today.  Though the day started off at a chilly 38 degrees, that didn’t prevent these collegiate anglers from quickly bringing big bass to the scales.

During Session 4, Bethel University’s Ty Dyer brought in a 7.42 pound bass!  Not only did he secure the 1st place in that session, he finished with the biggest overall Day 1 Big Bass.
