QUWF Joins With Cuddeback for Habitat Work Data

“Habitat work must be graded on the success of the wildlife in the area, before during and after ground work has begun. Counting wildlife, or even seeing them at all, sometimes is a challenge because part of their survival is concealment and a quick getaway” states Craig Alderman of QUWF. “For this reason we are asking QUWF chapters and members to use game cameras on all upland game projects to record and report what is really living on or using the area. Now we are very pleased to announce that Cuddeback is partnering with us to capture the critters, predators and sometimes strange visitors that visit habitat across this country” explains Craig “Cuddeback’s advanced Digital technology game camera will also be offered at QUWF events and banquets, the best of the best helping to raise needed funds for local upland wildlife habitat”.

“Our advanced technology is perfect for capturing the best color digital photos of the upland game on a QUWF work area or food plot” states Beth Lax, President of Cuddeback, “The quarter second trigger can capture a running deer with clarity, it gives you the hidden eyes you have always wanted in the woods. Seeing what you may or may not have known was there and some things that may surprise you, night and day, becomes important. That is what we do best for every hunter or conservationist and now are very pleased to take it to the next level of assisting in habitat work results with QUWF” Beth observes.

“I have personally used these cameras for wildlife studies and can highly recommend them” explains Chief Biologist Nick Prough of QUWF. “They work in the weather we have to deal with and provide invaluable data for knowing what was once unseen, they will be a great partner with QUWF, our chapters and members” Prough states.

As of June 2013, QUWF and its local chapters and members have impacted 1.8 million acres of wildlife habitat and its chapters spent $107 Million Dollars in their local communities. That is “Turnin-the-Dirt”.
