OutdoorHub 04.28.14
FNH USA, LLC is pleased to announce that it has donated several firearms, some of which are special editions, to the National Rifle Association’s NRA Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) Dinner and Auction, the NRA Women’s Leadership Foundation Luncheon and Auction and the National NRA Foundation Banquet, all held during the 2014 Annual Meetings and Exhibits.
“FNH USA is a proud supporter of the National Rifle Association and its efforts to protect our constitutional right to keep and bear arms,” said Mark Cherpes, President and CEO for FNH USA. “We hope these donations, some of which are one-of-a-kind, will appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike and help raise money for NRA’s worthy causes.”
Donations to the NRA-ILA Dinner and Auction include a matched, consecutively serialized set of FN 15™ modern sporting rifles custom-engraved with the NRA-ILA logo as well as the Herstal Group’s commemorative 125th anniversary logo celebrating its founding in 1889. Both introduced to the market in 2014, the FN 15™ Carbine and FN 15™ Rifle feature 16 and 20-inch chrome-lined, alloy steel barrels chambered in 5.56 NATO in an M4 or M-16-style pattern. This special-edition set will go on the block for the live auction portion of the evening.
Following the NRA-ILA live auction, a 5-inch stainless steel-topped FNS™-9 Longslide will go up for bids during the evening’s silent auction. The FNS™ Longslide is the latest addition to FN’s popular FNS™ line of striker-fired pistols that resulted from five years of intensive development and more than 400,000 rounds of testing.
FNH USA also donated a custom FN Five-seveN® package including pistol, Galco® holster and other FN gear to the NRA Women’s Leadership Forum and a set of FN 15™ modern sporting rifles to the National NRA Foundation Banquet.
