Mechanicsburg, Ohio resident Jeff Davis’ name was randomly selected as the winner of a Mossberg International 715T Duck Commander Series rimfire rifle outfitted with 11 of Leapers/UTG’s most popular accessories. The optics package included a 2.6″ micro red/green dot sight; sub-compact red laser, operating solid or pulse; 150 lumen LED weapon light; full metal grip with quick release deployable bipod; an array of innovative and practical mounts; and handsome dark-earth color sling pack, just right for the rifle.
Representatives from both Mossberg and Leapers were honored to present this exciting package to honored war veteran, Jeff Davis, at the recent 2014 National Rifle Association Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Indiana. Davis, a loyal NRA supporter and an avid outdoorsman who regularly fishes and fills his turkey quota, was extremely excited to win the prize. Army veteran Davis, age 72, who saw a tour of duty in the Vietnam War, has always attributed his love for the shooting sports and outdoors to his father with whom he spent much of his youth afield. Just two days prior to attending the NRA Convention, Davis was able to bag a big tom turkey, using his trusted Mossberg 835 pump-action shotgun.
Mossberg’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom Taylor, and Vice President of Sales, John MacLellan, joined Leapers UTG Founder, David Ding, to award the elated Davis with his prize at Leapers’ booth on Saturday afternoon during the height of the show. With over 2,000 hopefuls entering the contest, the sponsors felt that Davis was a well-deserved winner.Davis said he would surely enjoy taking his new decked-out Duck Commander .22 rifle out for some serious outdoor fun and bragging rights.
