Northwest Outdoor Writers Association Announces Award Winners

The Northwest Outdoor Writer’s Association (NOWA) presented their “Excellence in Craft” awards at their annual conference in Polson, Montana on April 26th.

In addition to this NOWA also presented it’s two most prestigious awards.  The first was the Fred L. Peterson Award, given to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for their support of the outdoor media and for their significant contributions to the outdoor education of the general public, with a special emphasis on youth.

NOWA member Chuck Robbins was given the Enos Bradner Award for his long time support of the organization and for the high standards of outdoor journalism he consistently demonstrates as a writer and photographer.

In addition to these awards, “Excellence in Craft” wwards were given in twenty categories to writers, photographers, video and radio hosts, and to digital media producers.  A complete list of awards can be found at thttp://www.northwest-outdoor-writers-association.org/.
