Keith Warren Highlights New Whitetail Research This Week on Deer & Wildlife Stories

On this week’s episode of Deer & Wildlife Stories, award-winning outdoor television producer and big game hunter Keith Warren airs a special show that highlights the new whitetail deer research program at Texas Tech University. The potential positive impact of this new research could help combat deadly diseases, which are having devastating effects on deer herds across the country.

Keith Warren’s Deer & Wildlife Stories airs on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm; Wednesdays at 6:30 pm; Fridays at 6 pm; and Sundays at 5 pm CST.

Thanks to funding spearheaded by the Deer Breeders Corporation, researchers at The Institute of Environmental and Human Health at Texas Tech University are studying the transmission of insect-borne disease in whitetail deer, such as epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD). EHD is an acute, infectious, and often fatal disease with an ability to cause large scale outbreaks in wild and farm-raised deer populations.

Based in New Braunfels, Texas, The High Road Group produces the High Road with Keith Warren and Keith Warren’s Deer & Wildlife Stories programs, airing on The Pursuit Channel. Keith Warren productions are designed to encourage others to become actively involved in the outdoors as the ultimate conservationists and stewards of the land.

Warren’s other program, The High Road with Keith Warren, airs on Mondays at 2 pm; Wednesdays at 11 pm; and Sundays at 7:30 pm. Both shows run on the Pursuit Channel and all times are CST. Full episodes of both shows are also viewable free of charge at www.highroadhunting.com.
