Mark Thomas Joins ThermaCELL

Schawbel Corporation, a leader in bringing comfort to the outdoors, is pleased to announce Mark Thomas will serve as marketing manager of its ThermaCELL Mosquito Repellent division, which markets an area mosquito repellent system in the United States and 28 countries worldwide.
Mark will be responsible for marketing activities in the U.S. for the hunting, camping and outdoor living business segments. Josh Silvia, the former marketing associate, was promoted to marketing manager for ThermaCELL Heated Insoles earlier this year.
“Mark’s deep experience marketing to mass consumers as well as hunting, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts makes him an ideal fit for this position,” said Allegra Lowitt, vice president of marketing.
Mark is a marketing veteran having held posts with world class branding organizations such as Volvo-Penta, Continental Airlines and Invisible Fence. Mark was selected for the position because of his diverse skill set which also includes experience in the outdoor and firearms industry with Remington, the National Shooting Sports Foundation and most recently Walther Firearms.
