CVA to be Highlighted on The History Channels Show “The Hunt”

CVA is proud to announce the use of its popular Accura muzzleloader on this Sunday night’s episode of “The Hunt” on The History Channel. The Hunt is a docu-series highlighting Kodiak bear hunting on Alaska’s rugged Kodiak Island. The Hunt is an eight-episode series that documents one of the most dangerous pursuits known to man.
Hillarie Putnam is not your ordinary bear hunter. Hillarie is a SAG/AFTRA actress who studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Conservatory in Hollywood CA. She has trained with highly sought after acting coach and teacher Lesley Kahn and has been mentored by Network Television Director David Nutter.
With strong ties to Red Thread Entertainment she has helped many of their talent with their blossoming acting and modeling careers. But before her acting career she was born and raised in Alaska. Hillarie started hunting with a muzzleloader at the age of 12. Loving the challenge of hunting with a muzzleloader, Hillarie has harvested moose, caribou, brown and interior grizzly bear, and deer with her smokepole.
When asked about using a muzzleloader in Alaska she says, “I love hunting with a muzzleloader. However, I learned how to hunt from my dad who loves to bowhunt”, she added.
Hillarie stated, “One of the challenges I like about muzzleloading is that it takes a little more care with the constant weather changes when using a muzzleloader.” Chad Schearer, Director of Advertising and Media Relations, first spoke to Hilary about her muzzleloading opportunities for an upcoming show last year.
