MidwayUSA Celebrates 37th Anniversary

MidwayUSA Founders Larry and Brenda Potterfield opened a small retail gun shop June 18, 1977, under the name Ely Arms, Inc. Over the last 37 years they’ve grown their business into a successful online retailer of Just About Everything® for Shooting, Reloading, Gunsmithing and Hunting. This week MidwayUSA celebrates its 37th year of business, and 37 years of serving Customers.
“A lot has changed over the years. With nearly 500 employees, the MidwayUSA campus is quite a lot bigger now and we carry quite a few more products than we did back in ’77 – over 100,000 and still counting!” said Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA. “One thing that hasn’t changed is our focus on the Customer. Customer Satisfaction is our number 1 goal and at the root of every decision we make. We look forward to many more changes in the future, all for the benefit of our Customers.”
