Unbelievable Teal Action Sets the Pace for the New Season of SportingDog Adventures

New episodes of SportingDog Adventures hit the airwaves on six networks this week, beginning with an incredible teal hunt in Louisiana!
“Getting good footage of teal is tough for a variety of reasons,” says Jeff Fuller, Host and Executive Producer. “But the footage we have this season trumps anything you will see on any other show. Between the incredible numbers of teal that came right into our decoy spread and the talented cameramen we had tracking them all the way, viewers are going to get to see something really unique.”
“Whether you are into teal hunting or not, this episode is great for dog lovers and conservationists as well,” says Kate Fuller, Jeff’s wife and member of the SportingDog crew. “We were able to capture some great shots of Rommel on multiple retrieves. He really exceled in the field, which was especially challenging with the number of blind retrieves due to the cane plants and reeds.” As an added bonus, the crew felt fortunate to be hunting in and sharing the beauty of the Mississippi river delta with their viewers. “The mission of Vanishing Paradise is very important to us at SportingDog Adventures and as hunters in general. By filming an outstanding hunt here, we hope to inspire people to get involved in these valuable conservation efforts.”

The fourth season of SportingDog Adventures begins the first week of July in 2014. We are proud to share our quality family programming on The Pursuit Channel, airing on Tuesdays at 9:00 am, Wednesdays at 11:30 pm, and Saturdays at 9:30 pm, as well as on Wild TV on Tuesdays at 12:30 am and at 8:30 pm and Thursdays at 8:00 am. Jeff Fuller began in the sporting dog industry in 1998, when he was given “Lily,” a chocolate female lab, as a gift. Since then, Soggy Acres Retrievers Kennels has grown to producing some of the nation’s top chocolate, black, and yellow retrievers with excellent lineage, many of which have gone on to Senior and Master hunt titles. Jeff Fuller, Host and Executive Producer of SportingDog Adventures, always loved dogs and hunting, but never expected to make a career out of it. Jeff followed his college career and time in the Army Reserve with a career in law enforcement, until a squad accident ended his career in 2005. Looking for a new path, Jeff began to expand his Labrador breeding program and incorporated Soggy Acres Retrievers. Appearances on local television shows inspired him to aim higher, and SportingDog Adventures was created to provide wholesome, family entertainment geared towards those with an interest in dogs and the outdoors. The show is now in its 4th season, with new episodes beginning each July on the Pursuit Channel, as well as several other networks including The Walk, Tuff TV, and Wild TV Canada. Katherine Fuller, wife of Jeff Fuller, came from a dog-loving family with a history of hunting that goes all the way back to her European roots. Still, she never expected to end up using her years of accounting experience and her marketing degree in support of a Labrador breeding program and a hunting show. In addition to her accounting and PR duties with Soggy Acres Retrievers kennel and SportingDog Adventures TV, Kate also appears on many of the episodes, and has also formed a marketing company, Brown Dog Communications, offering the outdoors industry media kits, press releases, web content, social media management, and more. When she’s not writing or chasing after the dogs or the kids, she enjoys researching recipes and natural products, as well as organizing the family’s extensive photo collection.
