Javins Joins Hornady as LE/Military Sales Manager

Hornady Manufacturing, a world-renowned leader in ballistic technology, is pleased to announce that Scott Javins has been hired as Law Enforcement and Military Sales Manager. He is responsible for the sales and promotion of Hornady Law Enforcement ammunition, growing current and prospective markets, building relationships, and assisting with new product development.
“Scott’s law enforcement and military service serve him well in this position,” said Renae Waltemath, Hornady® Director of Sales. “His extensive knowledge of the firearms, ammunition and ballistic testing requirements used by various law enforcement agencies make him uniquely qualified to understand the needs of clientele who put their lives on the line for our safety.”
Javins brings 17 years of law enforcement and military experience to the position, including 7 years as an FBI Task Force Officer, and 5 years as a DEA Task Force Officer. He has been a Professional Tactical Firearms Instructor for 10 years, teaching Two Man Team Tactics, Tactical Pistol, Shotgun, and Carbine, Basic and Advanced Precision Rifle, as well as Basic and Advanced SWAT courses. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1998.
