OutdoorHub 07.16.14
Travel to North Dakota to explore a unique hunting landscape and check out a piece of American history in this week’s all-new episode of Destination Whitetail, airing on the Sportsman Channel this Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
The Destination Whitetail team enter the rolling hills and prairies of North Dakota looking for a whitetail nirvana. Viewers will meet George Berger of Bald Hill Creek Adventures, a habitat-making machine who has planted over 100,000 trees on his property. Berger’s property attracts a number of diverse species, including herds of white-tailed deer that winter on his property. Cameras join Destination Whitetail team member Brad Rucks and Berger as they venture out in pursuit of a prized in-velvet buck.
Along the way we take a step back in time as cameras unveil a lucrative secret hidden under the North Dakota prairie we are hunting. Tune in to find out how North Dakota’s underground missile command centers played a role in protecting our country during the Cold War.
Explore the varied hunting landscapes that the United States has to offer on Destination Whitetail, airing every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, only on the Sportsman Channel.
