Kansas Greenheads & California Sprigs this Week on DUTV on Pursuit
OutdoorHub 07.16.14
DUTV co-host Zach Pederson leads a team of avian tornado chasers to the Neosho River overflow in Kansas for meetings with migrating greenheads. The group includes Jim Pederson, Zach’s father and waterfowl-hunting mentor, and the blue-sky action is blistering. From there the DUTV film crew bounces out to California’s Central Valley to partake in classic mixed bag shooting on Paul Bonderson’s Bird Have Ranch. World Champion goose caller and DUTV co-host Field Hudnall and Bonderson, DU’s current first vice president, enjoy some of the finest pintail action of the season.
Additionally, Mike Stewart shows us how to steady retrievers to birds in flight and Phil Bourjaily offers shotgunning tips to help you square up more decoying ducks.
Hunting top private and public-land waterfowl venues throughout the continent, Duck Unlimited Television (DUTV), the broadcast voice of America’s largest conservation organization, is produced in association with MOOSE Media.
