Bass Anglers Name Minn Kota’s Talon Top Shallow Water Anchor

Minn Kota’s Talon has been named Favorite Shallow Water Anchoring System in the 2014 Game & Fish/Sportsman Readers’ Choice Awards. More than 2,000 experienced bass anglers were surveyed for the award with Talon receiving over 60 percent of the vote to easily obtain the top spot in its category.

The Game & Fish/Sportsman survey polled both print and online readers. The survey found two in five respondents caught more than 50 bass in the past year, with an overall average of 34 bass caught. The survey also found that voting anglers fished an average of 42 days last year, and 37 percent considered themselves to be advanced or expert bass anglers.
