GEICO Celebrates 10 Year Milestone at Sturgis Bike Rally with Full Array of Big Boy Toys

GEICO will bring its arsenal of cool and customized vehicles to the 74th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, on Aug. 4 -10, 2014.
2014 marks GEICO’s tenth year participating at Sturgis, one of the largest motorcycle rally’s in the world. The company will serve as an exclusive insurance partner of both Buffalo Chip and the City of Sturgis.
“GEICO’s participation at Sturgis marks a decade of success at a great event,” said Ted Ward, GEICO vice president. “In honor of our ten years here, we decided to display some of our cooler vehicles for the fans. Sturgis is the perfect environment for us to connect and interact with our motorcycle, motorhome, RV and travel trailer customers on a personal level and all in one place.”
There will be fun and excitement, prizes, games and giveaways for motorcycle and RV fans at two locations in Sturgis. At Buffalo Chip, participants will have a chance to meet The Gecko as well as check out each of the GEICO vehicles. On Main Street there will be an opportunity to receive some great GEICO giveaways; enter into the Destination Daytona Harley Davidson Bike Raffle and be a part of Military Appreciation Day on Aug. 5th.
“The Military Tribute is a fantastic way to salute and commemorate our troops,” said Ward. “Our Armed Services personnel represent a large portion of the fan base in Sturgis and we appreciate all of their commitment, service and bravery.”
