2014 Boofest Excalibur Crossbow Fundraising Event an Overwhelming Success

The 2014 Boofest, an Excalibur Crossbow enthusiast’s charity fund raising event hosted by Don Katsumi, was another overwhelming success! Attendees came from all corners of North America to take part in this amazing event and once again displayed their overwhelming generosity. A special thank you to the many people who couldn’t attend but, also showed amazing compassion with some significant donations. This year’s Boofest raised over $6000.00.
The 2014 event raised funds for the family of Nick Manioudakis. Regretfully, the Canadian shooting Sports industry lost one of our own on August 15th 2013 when our good friend Nick Manioudakis from Stoeger Canada passed away suddenly. Nick was only 39 years old. This year’s donations have been donated to a trust fund in the name of his two children.
Thanks to all the companies who donated product for the auction, without them the auction would not be possible.
Excalibur will to continue this annual event with hopes to generate donations for more worthy causes and give back to people less fortunate.
