Ruger Sponsors 2014 IDPA U.S. National Championship

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) announced that one of the nation’s most respected gun makers, Ruger Firearms, has signed on as one of the major sponsors of the 2014 IDPA U.S. National Championship.
“There is a rich tradition at Ruger of supporting the American shooter and the shooting sports. We’re very pleased to have the support of such a well respected gun maker and to be working with them on this year’s IDPA U.S. Nationals,” said Robert Ray, membership and marketing director for IDPA.
Ruger joins ACADEMI, Blade-Tech, Brownells, Comp-Tac, CZ-USA, GLOCK, Harris Publications, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Smith & Wesson and Wilson Combat as a gold level sponsor of the championship which takes place September 9 thru 13 at the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The match is expected to draw over 300 of the sport’s top shooters.
