The Bear Whisperer Unleashes “When Bears Attack” this Week on Pursuit Channel

Never before seen close encounters with bears are featured in this week’s episode of The Bear Whisperer on the Pursuit Channel. Host Blaine Anthony takes you to multiple locations in this long-awaited, 3-week mini-series. The series features scenes such as Blaine being chased out of the thick woods of New Brunswick by an angry bear, bears climbing trees and getting eye level with the hunter, all the way to a bear that goes on attack and jumps on Blaine in never before seen footage.
Blaine will also go over what you should do if you encounter a bear in the wild, myths about bears, and body language to decipher what a bear is trying to communicate. The mini-series runs for 3 weeks starting August 11.
The Bear Whisperer airs on the Pursuit Channel Tuesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 12:30 a.m., Fridays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 4:30 p.m. EST.
Host Blaine Anthony is a familiar face to national TV viewers hosting shows such as North American Safari, The Bear Whisperer and Hitmen for over 10 years. Viewers get much more than just bear hunting. They get to see all aspects of conservation including going into bear dens in the winter with biologists to relocating problem bears from public places. Blaine Anthony has been a registered bear-hunting guide for over 12 years with hundreds of successful hunts to his credit. Anthony has accumulated over 70 successful bear harvests of his own in his hunting career. He has an uncanny ability to track, locate, and understand bear behavior.
